Ari Pearl's PPG Development and BH3 Management have completed the Slate Hallandale Beach apartment tower on the edge of the Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club.

The 26-story tower contains 250 apartments and more than 20,000 square feet of amenities. It was designed by Miami-based Kobi Karp Architecture.

The apartments range from 859 to 3,230 square feet. Rent starts at $3,200 a month.

Amenities in Slate Hallandale Beach include a pool with cabanas, a summer kitchen, a fire pit, a fitness center, a golf simulation room, a community room with a pool table and kitchen, a wine room and lounge, a spa with a sauna and treatment rooms, a game room, a business center, and a movie room.

“Hallandale Beach has always been a desirable location full of possibilities, but never had a development of this caliber offering expansive, resort-inspired amenities and stylish modern residences combined with the convenience and flexibility of living in a rental community,” Pearl said.

Plantation-based GT McDonald was the general contractor. Fort Lauderdale-based Interiors by Steven G was the interior designer. Miami-based Atlantic Pacific Cos. will handle leasing and property management.

The Diplomat golf course is being redesigned by golf legend Greg Norman. This is one of four towers Pearl plans to build on the property.
